ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Accreditation to it shows that a laboratory operates competently, impartially and consistently, and produces valid results.

This intensive 5-day Assessor / Lead Assessor course is certified by CQI and IRCA (Ashbrooke Quality Assurance Ltd., IRCA certificate no. A17020). It explains the 2017 edition in practical terms, with workshops on method validation, measurement uncertainty, metrological traceability and ensuring the validity of results.

Over 90% of the course is syndicate work: four questionnaires, eight workshops and skills activities on planning, running and reporting laboratory assessments in line with ISO 19011:2018. BEMCON is the only training company in Saudi Arabia with a locally based CQI and IRCA approved lead tutor for this course.
